The plants are grown by Bendy Stem Farm in Dimondale Michigan and owner Ben Crocker will be on site to answer your questions. We will have plants that support birds, bees and butterflies. Add some native plants to your landscape and watch it come to life! Proceeds from this fundraiser will help the Wild Ones Red Cedar Chapter continue our educational programs and provide grants to help establish native gardens in the greater Lansing area. The Shiawassee Conservation District offers bare root trees and shrubs through their Spring Tree & Shrub Sale to provide plants for conservation plantings, wildlife habitat, erosion control and general reforestation. Many of the species offered are native and grown in our climate to best meet the conditions that they will be planted in.
Complete the paper order form available here or call the Conservation District office at (989) 723-8263 Ext. 3 to place your order over the phone with a credit card. You can also mail or drop off the form with full payment to the Shiawassee Conservation District office: 1900 S. Morrice Rd, Owosso MI 48867. It is best to call ahead to make sure someone will be in the office, and the species you want are available.
